The Vampire Diaries 9/29/11

Wassup Junkies?!?

This week's TVD episode is entitled "The End of The Affair." Don't know exactly what the end is, but we'll see.

Jumping right into it we open with Damon pouring a glass of liquor and answering a phone call from Katherine. Damon fills her in on everything and she tempts him of course. Katherine tells him that Klaus was flipping out about his failed hybrid deal.

With Stefan and Klaus now, they step out of a car in Chicago. We then plunge into our first flashback of Stefan being a true relentless ripper. Stefan walks into a club to scope out his next victim. He then runs into a gorgeous vampire and asks for her name, to which she hushes him. Out of the flashback Stefan questions Klaus's insentives and says that the only way to solve the problem is to find her. Damon then wakes Elena up by sleeping with her and tells her that they have to begin to travel to Chicago because of his "intuition" that Stefan and Klaus are there.

In the cellar with Caroline, her father takes off her ring that allows her to walk in the sun. One would think that he's torturing her but he thinks of it as "fixing" her. He then opens a window and the sun shines directly on her.

On the road with Damon and Elena, Damon hands her Stefan's old diary and laughs at it.

Back in the flashback, the new gorgeous vamp still withholds her name. Out of the flashback again, Klaus and Stefan walk into Gloria, a witch who used to run the club back in the '20s. Stefan then finds a picture of himself with Klaus from back then.

At the Forbes's Sheriff calls Caroline and leaves a voicemail. Tyler then knocks on the door.

In the cellar, Caroline's dad is still torturing her and tells her that she has to resist the blood to which she replies is "impossible."

In Chicago, Elena and Damon arrive in Stefan's Chicago apartment where he Damon shows her where Stefan used to keep his alcohol and the names of his victims. Elena is shocked and ridiculously upset.

Stefan begins to question Klaus on how well they knew each other. Back in a flashback, we are shown that this new gorgeous vamp is Klaus's sister....yep, I'm just as shocked. Stefan continues to be baffled about his newfound relationships with Originals and Klaus pulls out the special dagger that lies in his little sister's heart. Her name is Rebecca.

Back in a flashback, we find out that Rebecca is pure vampire, not exactly a hybrid. Also, Klaus is, or was a huge fan of Stefan's. Klaus and Stefan then go to Stefan's old apartment.

Damon then walks into Gloria's bar and shmoozes Gloria and she tells him that Stefan has been seen there with Klaus.

At his apartment with Klaus, Stefan sees Elena and they exchange a few glances before he grabs a bottle of liquor and heads out to Gloria's bar.

Back at Stefan's, Damon brings Elena a dress to change into before they go to Gloria's.

At Gloria's, Klaus and Stefan have a few drinks, waiting for Rebecca to arrive. Back in the flashback, Klaus and Stefan also have a few drinks and have a nice guy chat where they talk about Rebecca and Stefan's possible relationship. We then realize that Klaus's name at the time was "Nick." They then toast to friendship.

Back to Torture Central, Caroline's father tries to convince her to stop giving into temptation. When "nice daddy," also known as Bill, walks out, Tyler and Sheriff show up and save Caroline. Yay!

Back at the bar we are emerged in yet another flashback where Stefan and Rebecca are having the best time dancing together until Chicago police shows up and shoots the place up. In an attempt to save Rebecca, Stefan is stopped by Klaus so that he forgets about the two. Out of the flashback, Damon walks into the bar and asks to have a quick word with Stefan. Stefan then encounters Elena...again. Damon, as usual, waltzes up to Klaus and sits beside him at the bar.

Back at the bar, Klaus and Damon have a nice little chat and of course Klaus starts torturing him. Elena and Stefan attempt to hug but when Elena tries to stab him with a Vervain dart but he grabs her wrist. He tells her that that part of his life is over and that he doesn't want to be with her, he just wants her to go. Um...Edward Cullen, much? What is this New Moon? At least this was better and less cheesy but extremely harsh, the way it was meant be portrayed. Take that Robsten...heh heh heh.

Leaving the bar, Elena tells Damon how she's a little distraught.

Back at the Forbes's, Sheriff and Tyler nurse Caroline back to health. Tyler then puts Caroline to bed as she cries and says how "[her] dad hates [her]."

Back in that warehouse thingy, Rebecca stabs Klaus in the heart. In the flashback, we see Rebecca fighting with Klaus about staying to be with Stefan until he stabs her. But of course, Klaus doesn't die, it just hurts. Rebecca throws a temper tantrum when she realizes that her necklace is lost. We then realize that Katherine, once again, has to do with this whole ordeal. It always leads back to her.

Get amped for next episode and Bonnie's back! Everyone loves a good witch.

The Vampire Diaries 9/22/11

Hey Junkies!!

This week's episode is titled "The Hybrid" referring to Klaus creating his new Hybrid army.

Let's move right in. The episode opens with Damon glancing as the newscaster on television talks about Andy's death. Elena informs Damon that Stefan called her and he doesn't believe it. However, she reassures him that "if he was gone, he wouldn't have called." Next we move to Alaric waking up to insistent knocking on his door who happens to be Elena, who attempts to drive the truth out of him. He tells her that Klaus and Stefan have been tracking werewolves in Tennessee.

Speaking of which, we then move to Klaus and Stefan moving Ray, our infamous culprit, in the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. They then stumble upon a large pack of wolves and one rushes to see Ray majorly injured. Klaus then does his usual evil smile because he's happy that they know who he is.

Moving on, we see Carol Lockwood, after just shooting Caroline with Vervain darts, pouring liquor in glasses. She takes the last dart and pours it in the coffee so Tyler won't be compelled. Carol then calls a friend named Bill and says that she has "a bit of a vampire situation."

At the grille, Jeremy then tells Matt that he is the only way to contact Vicki and help her like she begged. Elena talks with Tyler about werewolves so that she can attempt to track Klaus and Stefan. Tyler then gives her a location on where they could be. Alaric and Elena talk about hiking to the Smoky Mountains to find the two.

At the mountains Ray wakes and sees the rest of his pack. Klaus and Stefan then begin creating Klaus's new breed of hybrids.

Back at the grille, Matt pours Tyler a cup of coffee and hast a short banter with him. Matt sort of asks Tyler if he needs help with the full moon. Bill arrives at Carol's and tells her that "[Caroline's] a vampire, do what you have to."

At the Smoky's Alaric and Elena begin their trek to Klaus and Stefan. Damon then appears and shoves Elena in the water, thanking Alaric for the tip. Klaus's army begins to form and Stefan begins to question why he's creating the army. Damon treads into the water after Elena and tells her that there's no use in trying to find them. Klaus gets upset that Ray is having trouble with his transformation. Ray bites Stefan and Klaus, without remorse, tells him to go and find Ray.

Carol and Tyler have a chat about why she put Vervain in the coffee. Carol tells Tyler that he can't be with her because "she's a monster." And Tyler challenges that with the fact that she doesn't know about him.

Alaric, Damon, and Elena stumble upon Ray and Damon blows a Wolfsbane grenade in his face.

Jeremy and Matt find Vicki's stuff and briefly look through it. Matt says that he "can't do this" because it's too hard for him. Suddenly, a picture that was once laid down, suddenly stands up.

Ray begins going through a small transformation after being tied tightly to a tree. The human that Ray was using to feed the hybrids is then killed. Damon leads a wolf away from the others.

Tyler begins to turn and he shows his mom that his a wolf. She of course begins to freak out...such an idiot.

Damon then begins to fight Ray and Stefan comes from behind and rips his heart out. Stefan is heartbroken to hear that Elena was the one leading the search and tells Damon to "try and keep her [home] this time." Elena and Alaric then have a little pow-wow and Elena tells him that he, Jeremy, and herself are all lost causes so they have to stick together.

Matt then knocks on Jeremy's door with a case of beer and a smile. He tells him that he spent the day going through Vicki's stuff and begins to tell Jeremy that he was the one who understood Vicki the most. Vicki tells Jeremy that she can come back but Anna comes and tells her not to trust her.

Back at the site of the crime, Klaus is devastated that his army failed to comply. He freaks out and says that he did everything he was told. Stefan begins to tell Klaus that he "failed [him]." Klaus then hands a good portion of his blood to Stefan to heal him and they decide to leave. Klaus says that Stefan is the only comrade he has left.

Damon stands at Elena's window and tells her that Stefan is still alive and can be saved and that he'll help her. Damon questions Elena about why she decided to turn back and she states that it's because she cares about him. Alaric then moves back in.

Tyler is left in chains and Carol says that she'll make sure that Caroline won't get hurt. However, Bill becomes a small problem and we then find out that he is Caroline's father.

Next week's episode is about Caroline's father trying to "fix" her and Elena and Damon still attempting to find Stefan.

The Vampire Diaries 9/15/11

Hey Junkies!!

So, The Vampire Diaries is now back!! This episode is titled "The Birthday," referring to Elena's 18th! It feels so good to have it back. Let's jump right in!

The first episode of season 3 began with a quick review and a glimpse of a Tennessee home where a girl exits and crosses paths with Klaus and Stefan. Klaus compels the girl into letting him into the house where Stefan corners the other at the front door. Then Klaus sets Stefan loose on the squealer. Then we move to Elena awake in bed looking as pitiful as ever. She gets up and attempts to open the windows in Jeremy's room. Then Caroline is seen shopping giving Elena locations of where Klaus and Stefan might be.

We then move to Damon and Andy in the bathroom and Damon steps out of his bubble bath dripping wet moving downstairs where he shocks Elena. They quickly banter about how this new lead from Sheriff Forbes may be another dead end. At the grill, Bonnie and Jeremy are video chatting then he quickly hangs up as he is experiencing the freak condition he had before, seeing Vicki and Anna again. Jeremy goes out and serves Caroline and Matt as the have some awkward sexual tension.

At a bar in Tennessee, Klaus finds a "chap" named Ray who for some reason has significance in his life. Ray seems to be shocked about Klaus being a hybrid. Klaus then asks for Ray to give his packs location but Ray fights it and says he can't be compelled for some reason. Stefan then comes in with a bag filled with Wolfsbane and tells the Bartender to put it "on the rocks."

Moving on, Alaric and Damon show up at the house Klaus and Stefan were at before and take a look around only to find, to their dismay, a wrecked house with blood splattered all over the walls and to mangled decaying bodies.

At the Lockwood mansion, Tyler, Elena, and Caroline are setting up for Elena's party and Tyler tells Caroline that he has this tempting part of the werewolf gene that sometimes won't stop working: the sexual part. Back at the wrecked home in Tennessee, Damon begins pouring gasoline on the bodies but stops abruptly as he sees chains under creaking floor boards.

At the bar, Stefan is shown throwing darts at Ray. Then a girl comes and tells Klaus that Damon and Alaric were seen at the house. Stefan claims that he won't let Damon ruin anything.

Returning to the Salvatore mansion, Damon and Elena have a small moment where he gives her back her necklace. He then takes Elena as his escort.

At Elena's party, everyone's having fun but she's looking annoyed. There's SO much drinking Elena has to give in. Matt and Jeremy sit down and have a pow-wow about the past events. Alaric and Damon are wooing over the fact that they have to be the lousy chaperones telling unruly kids how to act.

We then move to Andy at her TV station and the lights suddenly turn on. Footsteps are heard and Andy begins running away only to find Stefan staring at her with hunger filled eyes. Caroline begins drinking Damon's favorite bottle of alcohol and Tyler watches as they have a quick banter. Caroline compels Tyler's date to leave the party and Tyler is left dateless. Pitiful Elena walks into Damon's room looking for a breather but can't seem to get over the fact that Stefan isn't there. Caroline calls to her attention that her life is passing her by. Elena then finds the special the board Damon's been using to track Klaus and Stefan.

Damon arrives at Andy TV station where, to his dismay, he can't find her. His phone then rings and then answers it because Elena's wondering where her is. He finds Andy's blood-soaked jacket and has a quick chat with Stefan. He sees Andy on a high ramp by the lights and she tells him she can't move because Stefan has compelled her. Stefan then states that she can move and she falls to her death. Damon is distraught and Stefan has that "I told you to let me go" look on his face. Stefan then vanishes when Damon goes over to Andy's body. Once again, another woman that he loves now dead.

At Elena's party Jeremy sees Matt again totally stoned and then sees Vicki asking for him to help her. Tyler and Caroline have a moment and make out leading to them sleeping together. Damon goes to his room only to find Elena questioning him about the search. He tells her that he's completely gone back to being a "ripper" and she's heartbroken, of course. At the Gilbert house, Matt and Jeremy are seen snuffing down a huge carton of ice cream and Jeremy finally tells him that he's been seing Vicki.

Klaus then feeds Ray his blood, then kills him. Klaus then provokes Stefan into letting his whole life go.

Alaric tells Elena that she "can do all this stuff alone now" and leaves her. Caroline and Tyler are shown sleeping together. Damon walks around Stefan's room and destroys it with how much he misses him. Stefan walks out of the bar and calls Elena and doesn't say anything and just listens as she talks. Caroline sneaks out of Tyler's room during the night and Mrs. Lockwood shoots down Caroline with Vervain darts.

Next week's episode is going to be even BETTER!!

America's Next Top Model 9/14/11

Hey Junkies!!

I decided to start blogging about America's Next Top Model and this season, or cycle, Tyra's doing an All-Star Cycle, with our favorites. The new, or old, girls are Angelea (cycle 14), Laura (cycle 13), Bianca (cycle 9), Lisa (cycle 5), Bre (cycle 5), Brittany (cycle 4), Dominique (cycle 10), Sheena (cycle 11), Isis (cycle 11), Kayla (cycle 15), Allison (cycle 12), Camille (cycle 2), Shannon (cycle 1), and Alexandria (cycle 16). As soon as the girls got in the house and began chatting the first "Tyra Mail" came in, telling the girls to choose their beds.

Afterwards, Mr. Jay Manuel comes to the house and gives the girls a quick background of the competition and tells them that they are on their way to their first photo shoot, a "larger than life version of [their] Top Model persona." As soon as she hits the salon chair, Bianca began to get a little snippy. According to the photographer, she wasn't doing enough. Allison was a cute babydoll and rocked it. In all honesty, ALL of the girls did so well.

Back at the mansion, Jay tells the girls that at their first panel is going to be live with thousands of their biggest fans and guest judge, wait for it....Nicki Minaj!! All of the girls received great feedback except Alexandria and Sheena, sad.

Back in a closed panel, Tyra commences the first panel of the season. Unfortunately, due to her lack of being memorable, Brittany was sent home.

On this cycle of ANTM, the girls will have lots of drama in addition to possible professionalism.

Anyway Junkies, I am so glad to be back and I hope you will tune in to The Vampire Diaries tomorrow at 8/7c!

With Love,

The Vampire Diaries 5/12/11

Hey Junkies!!

This week’s episode was the SEASON FINALE for The Vampire Diaries!! I really am going to miss it this summer. It’s wrapping up all of the drama from this season and putting a final word to Damon and his health. So here’s the low-down:

The final episode opened up with Elena staring at Jeremy asleep and feeling remorse from the past events. She goes into Jenna’s old room and closes the door behind her. Damon appears in her house and he begs for her forgiveness because he fed her his blood.  He goes back to his house and takes out a bottle of alcohol and drinks a glass. He stands in front of his stain glass window and burns himself until Stefan saves him. Stefan drags him to the cellar where Elijah was held for a while and states that he has Bonnie searching for a cure.

We then move to Klaus and Elijah in a forest where Klaus wakes up two days after the Sacrifice was broken. Elijah presses Klaus into honoring his agreement for finding their family. Stefan calls Alaric, who is drunk at the Grill, and tells him Damon is dying. Elena and Jeremy meet Caroline at a screening of Gone With The Wind in order to forget what has happened. Stefan and Bonnie are at the witch’s burning site and Bonnie tells Stefan that she’s gotten a connection to Emily. Emily then begins to speak through Bonnie and says that she doesn’t want to help Stefan find a cure for Damon’s wolf bite. Bonnie, after being abused internally, says that Klaus is probably the only one who knows about a cure for Damon.

Carol Lockwood is out of the hospital and is curious about Sheriff Forbes’s take on the vampire situation. Stefan tells Elena about Damon’s situation and she freaks. Damon has a hallucination and second-guesses Katherine’s sincerity. Stefan goes to Alaric’s where, after seeing Katherine is held hostage thanks to Klaus. Klaus stabs Stefan and Stefan tries to make another agreement. Alaric visits Damon and has a hard time with him. Elena goes to visit Damon and is captured by Sheriff Forbes. Sheriff Forbes “talks” with Damon, who then slams her against the wall violently. Back in the park with Bonnie and Caroline, Jeremy takes the lead and goes to look for his sister. At Alaric’s, Klaus taunts Stefan about his past and how he used to be murderous and Klaus reveals that his blood is the cure for wolf bites. Damon is found at the Gone With The Wind screening and he searches for Elena. Elena, being held captive by Sheriff Forbes, begs to go with her to get Damon. Sheriff Forbes finds Damon at the Grill and, trying to shoot him, shoots Jeremy in the chest instead. Caroline tries to give him her blood to revive him, as his ring won’t work. However, she was too late so he dies.

Then, we move back to the Grill where Jeremy is taken back with Bonnie and Caroline. Back at Alaric’s, Klaus decides to take Stefan with him on his killing spree. Klaus provokes Stefan further to where he pretty much is putting himself in the same situation as the past. At the witch’s burning site again, Bonnie tries to revive Jeremy but the witches are angry with her. She calls for Emily, who doesn’t reply, and weeps, declaring how much until Jeremy comes back to life. Elena breaks free of the Sheriff’s office and finds Damon who hurts her. She comforts him after he goes crazy while clutching her bleeding neck. Back at the Grill, Caroline and her mother have another talk about her situation and Sheriff Forbes hugs her back. Jeremy tells Bonnie that he feels different but she dismisses it. Elena nurses Damon and stays with him “until the very end” and he says he is extremely sorry. Stefan goes through several bags of blood and seems to still resist Klaus’s temptations. Damon and Elena have a reconnection and she forgives him for what he did. She begins to fight back tears of remorse and says she loves him and kisses him. Katherine shows up with a bottle of Klaus’s blood, the cure, and says that they shouldn’t expect Stefan around for a long time. Klaus takes Stefan along when he flees and Stefan returns to his true, murderous self. Back at the Gilbert’s, Jeremy wakes up and sees something moving in the hall, he goes out and sees Anna and Vicki, alive, but as ghosts.

That’s it for TVD this season, Junkies, and I am dying to see the next one.

Until the fall,

The Vampire Diaries 5/5/11

Happy Cinco de Mayo Junkies!!

Yes, the new episode of TVD is on a Mexican national holiday. Tonight's episode was titled "The Sun Also Rises", indicating some kind of scary thing for vampires. After viewing the preview for this episode, it was revealed that the Sacrifice ritual was going to begin in this episode.
It opened with Matt and Caroline tending to, actually running from, Tyler in wolf form. Then Damon and Katherine discuss Damon's new wolf-bite. Damon starts to tell Katherine about all of the stupid decisions she's made for her own protection. Then back at the site of the Sacrifice, Jenna tells Elena how she turned and begins to freak out. Elena tells her that she's in transition to becoming a vampire and she freaks out. Greta forms a circle around Elena so she won't try and save Jenna. Jenna becomes a full blown vampire after she drinks Greta's blood.
Then in the cellar of the witch's burning site, Jeremy and Bonnie bond looking for a cure for Elena so that she won't have to become a vampire after she dies. Elijah, Stefan, and Alaric go over the plan. Stefan is shocked that Jenna is going to die due to this Sacrifice. Greta professes her obedience to Klaus. Matt and Caroline bond, cheesy in my eyes, while trying to run from Tyler. At the Salvatore-Gilbert house, John arrives and he gets pissed that Damon is going to "ruin her life". Klaus gives Greta the moonstone and the Sacrifice begins. The circle lightens around Jules and Klaus kills her first. The frame tightens around Jenna's scared face.
Back at the cellar, Bonnie and Jeremy talk about a spell of Bonnie's ancestor. Alaric arrives there and talks to Jeremy about the fact that Jenna is going to die for this Sacrifice. Stefan will barter with Klaus and will offer himself in place of Jenna. Jenna and Elena walk down memory lane and think about everything that happened when Elena and Jeremy's parents died. Matt and Caroline are still at the Lockwood mansion trying to hold off Tyler. Matt seems stiff about something and Tyler is at the door. Back at the cellar, Stefan heads to the site where Jenna and Elena are being held. Elijah honors Stefan for everything that he's done. Stefan questions Elijah's honorability but Elijah explains that Klaus killed all of their siblings and ends his statement with "I won't fail you", something very emotional.
At the cellar, John brings the Gilbert journals to help them out. Damon freaks out that his brother is about to kill himself. The Sacrifice continues and Elena begs Klaus to set Jenna free but Stefan interrupts them. Damon, John, Bonnie, and Jeremy talk about a way to save Elena, a witch spell. Stefan tells Klaus that he wants to kill himself for Jenna's life. Jenna tells Elena that Stefan wants to take her place and Elena isn't pleased. Matt and Caroline tend to Tyler at his house and then Matt seems to really like Caroline but he still has doubts. Matt tells Caroline that he will probably never get over Caroline being a vampire. Bonnie, Jeremy, Damon, and Elijah go to the Sacrifice without Alaric. Klaus decides to go along with Stefan's plan and Stefan dies while Jenna becomes an actual vampire and is then killed as well. Elena is left in despair. Seriously, with everyone dead, pretty much, there seems to be no hope for this series at all.
We then move back to the Sacrifice and Stefan is back to life. He sees Jenna's body and is devastated. Klaus lightens the circle around Elena and says "it's time", meaning that Elena is about to die. She tells him to go to hell an Klaus drinks her blood until she dies. Klaus starts to have a weird effect and thinks that the Sacrifice is commencing. Bonnie starts to fight back, out of nowhere I might add, and he starts to burn. Damon takes the knife out of Stefan and Stefan watches as Bonnie kills Klaus. Elijah and Klaus meet again and Elijah lets him Klaus live. At the cellar, Alaric, John, and Jeremy talk about Elena's hope. Jeremy and Alaric freak out about Jenna's death. John walks out of the witch's burning site passes out, his life, and soul, going to Elena. Back at the Lockwood's Tyler wakes up and tells Caroline that she was right about the fact that he shouldn't have left town. Caroline seems to be her same old self and starts seeing the positives to her life, or tries to. They snuggle up together on the couch. At the Gilbert house, everyone is getting ready for Jenna's small funeral. Jeremy gives Elena a ring and a letter that John bestowed upon her. She apologizes for everything and the fact that he's lost so many people and they have a sibling hug. Elena sits down and reads the letter that John wrote her. Everyone goes to Jenna's funeral, everyone who knew about the whole Klaus situation. Elena starts to break down and Alaric places a rose on Jenna's pile of ashes. Damon shows Stefan his wolf bite and Stefan is taken aback. He wants to keep Damon alive, shocker! Damon walks off into the sunset to somewhere unknown.
In a preview for the next episode, the finale, Damon starts to freak due to his wolf bite and begins to suffer. Everyone tries to save him, but the result is yet to be seen. Tune in next week, Junkies!!

The Vampire Diaries 4/28/11

Hey Junkies!!

I must say this TVD episode was the most thrilling. Everyone came back...including the werewolves.

It opened with Damon staring at the ceiling in his room, eavesdropping on Stefan, Elijah, and Elena's conversation about the Full Moon to kill Klaus. Elijah tells them that they need the moonstone, Elena, and a special elixir concocted by Elijah to kill Klaus. Damon gets pissed that they don't listen to him.

Next, we move to the Lockwood mansion with Klaus's witch "throwing" Mrs. Lockwood down the stairs. Back at Elena's new house, Damon and Stefan contemplate Elena's decision, Damon practically begs Stefan to stop being so naive. Then at the hospital, Tyler returns to see his newly bruised mother. Sheriff Forbes tries to get Matt to realize that Caroline is evil because she is a vampire.

Returning to the Salvatore-Gilbert home, Elena tries to cheer Damon up. She tells him that everything that will happen later on will be fine. Damon still feels like he can't lose her, even though their not dating. When she tries to walk out, Damon gives her his blood (scary). Stefan comes to save the day and he gets pissed all over again. Damon stakes Stefan and everyone is emotionally hurt except Elijah, who still hates Damon. Elijah tells him that he doesn't get it. Jenna and Alaric are happily back together and once again, Stefan whisks Elena off. Tyler and Jules, lady wolf, rush out of the hospital and are stopped by Caroline. Caroline seems confused that he's "back"-ish but stays composed until she hears him say that he has to leave again. Caroline and Tyler get attacked by man-witch and Greta and leave the hospital.

Klaus meets Alaric and Damon at the Grill and taunts them. Of course, he is hot as ever and Damon tries to get Klaus to postpone the Sacrifice, but it failed. Damon and Alaric still try and buy Elena more time for the Sacrifice and so Alaric willingly agrees to help Damon "screw it up", the Sacrifice that is. We then move to a forest where Elena and Stefan take a walk to a waterfall. Stefan is concerned about her and her feelings, so they climb to the top. At Alaric's, Damon gets in and talks to Katherine. Katherine tells him that  Klaus has Caroline and Tyler and so he makes his way to the Tomb. At the Tomb, Caroline tells Tyler that they were at the hand of Klaus, of whom he doesn't know. We return to the waterfall and Stefan tells Elena the good and bad things of being a vampire, which she will become thanks to Damon. Stefan seems okay with it, but honestly he's scared for her. Klaus returns to Alaric's and tortures Katherine by making her stand in the sunlight.

Damon continues on his way to the Tomb and he encounters man-witch, who Matt kills (yes, Matt). Damon takes the rifle Matt used to kill man-witch to knock him out. Caroline continues to educate Tyler on the Sacrifice and Klaus. Tyler tells Caroline that Jules has been helping him out. Caroline wonders why Tyler left and he says that it was because he knew she hated him. Damon lets them both free and lets Tyler get ready for the Full Moon. At the waterfall, Stefan and Elena talk about Elena becoming a vampire and finally Stefan lets her know that he wants to be with her forever. Elena is still scared of what she's going to become and that she will never be able to have a normal future. She doesn't want to be a vampire and begins to cry, something she does well. Then, Caroline finds Matt and the Full Moon is already so Tyler begins to freak. Back at the Salvatore-Gilbert house, Elena is thankful for the day and they both see Klaus. Stefan gets freaked that Elena is going to die and they make out for a good two seconds and she tells him to close his eyes so that he doesn't see her leave. He enters the house and he tells Damon that Elena has already gone. Tyler begins to wolf out and they leave. Klaus goes back to Alaric's and Damon barges in and begins to provoke Klaus. Damon sees the video of Jules in the Tomb and he is hardly moved. Klaus tells Damon that he knew that something was going to go wrong so he had backups: "backup witch, backup werewolf, and backup vampire".

Caroline and Matt go to the cellar where Tyler used to tie himself down. Katherine tells Damon that she called someone. Greta takes Elena to see Jenna who was in transition to becoming a vampire and now Damon has a wolf bite = Damon's death.

The next episode, Junkies, will be the actual sacrifice and the epic episode....stay tuned!

The Vampire Diaries 4/21/11

Hey Junkies!!

This week's TVD episode was called "Klaus" and that's exactly who it's about, Klaus. It started out with Elijah waking up in the cell and Elena realizes he can no longer enter the "Salvatore" house because it does not belong to them anymore. The boys figure out that Elena let Elijah free and then we move out of that scene and into Alaric's apartment.

The old Klaus...
Klaus has still been tormenting Katherine and so she feeds his need for information. Back to the Elijah and Elena situation, Elijah can finally trust Elena and vise versa to where Elena's promises to not attempt to kill him and gives him the dagger. She informs him about the fact that Klaus is back in town and then we move into the first major flashback to 1492. We first meet Klaus in his regular, original form who, might I say, is sexy!!!

Elijah and Elena visit the Lockwood mansion and Elijah changes into Mr. Lockwood's suits after compelling Mrs. Lockwood into doing so. Jenna calls Stefan and he goes to the Gilbert house. Back to the Lockwood mansion, Elijah and Elena talk about things that occurred since Elijah died. Then we find out that Elijah and Klaus are brothers, that's right, brothers. Damon and Andy, Damon's girlfriend, visit Katherine at Alaric's apartment just to see what she looks like. Stefan arrives at the Gilbert house and to his surprise "Alaric" is already there.

Spooky...
Back at the Lockwood mansion, Elijah tells Elena that his family, that's Klaus's family too, is a whole pack of originals. At Alaric's, Damon gives Katherine Vervain to protect her from further compulsion, then Andy and Damon leave. At the Gilbert's, "Alaric" drops the bomb that vampires are a part of history. Jenna doesn't believe any of it but continues to listen. Then, at the Lockwood mansion still, Elijah tells Elena that to them, the Sun and the Moon Curse is "quite biblical" because Klaus was the one who made it up and it does not exist under that name as well as that it is not Aztec.

At the Gilbert's, Stefan takes all his anger out on "Alaric" and reveals to Jenna that there is something supernatural about him. After puncturing "Alaric"'s neck and punching and kicking him a few times, Stefan storms out at vampire speed (ooh). Still talking about the "Sun and the Moon Curse", Elijah reveals that the curse is actually one put on Klaus. Getting a call from Stefan, Elena goes home in haste for Jenna's protection.
Poor Jenna...

In a flashback, we realize that Elijah had small feeling for the then Katerina and that Klaus is a serious douche bag. Elena tells Jenna things about vampires and now she is "in the loop". She still feels betrayed but forgives Elena for everything and is now scared to death (probably of Stefan).

Elena puts Jenna to bed because Jenna is in serious shock. She then returns to Elijah. We then see Katherine on a drunk brigade and was silenced when "Alaric" walked in. Klaus's warlock brought back Greta, Luca's sister, and a new body for him to transfer into. At the Lockwood's again, Elena finds out that way back in the 15th century, Klaus's mother was unfaithful and had a child (Klaus) with another man who happened to be from a werewolf line which made him a hybrid. This means that Klaus is both a vampire (from his mother) and a werewolf (from his father) and he was the one who suffered the most from the "Sun and the Moon Curse". It also means that Klaus is the most dangerous thing out there. We realize that at the full moon Klaus will be the most vulnerable and can be killed then if a witch (like Bonnie) has the ability to channel enough power. Also, before Elena would've had to die before Klaus could die but Elijah found a way to spare her (yay!).

They always listen to Elena
Additionally, though small, we see that Damon and Stefan are having a small issue. But, who cares, right? In the end, the two of them duke it out in a nice brawl. Damon is now found to be seriously upset and not on anyone's side. He actually sheds tears.

At the conclusion of the show, Greta and Klaus's warlock end up transferring Klaus into his old, hot body from the 1500s and is now on a rampage like before.

Stay tuned for The Vampire Diaries on 4/27/11 titled "The Last Day", though in the preview the show is just reaching a climax...it's not the end...not yet, anyway.

The Vampire Diaries 4/14/11

Hey Junkies!!

Okay, so I'm gonna try and be diligent with my posting now, but no guarantees! Last week's TVD episode was titled "The Last Dance" which, to me, seemed to imply some kind of goodbye to either the season or the show in its entirety. Before, I used to just give recaps of The Vampire Diaries, but now I have a new and better idea. I've decided to give you Junkies more of what you want: criticism. Good criticism, bad criticism, whatever I feel about the certain things of each episode. So, in order to apply this new strategy, I must go about a different route when blogging about TVD. Of course I would so NOT share what that is because you could try and steal my thunder but for now, enjoy Junkies!!

Alright, here's how things went. You guys remember the week before last (4/7) how "Alaric", who is now Klaus, and this random warlock captured Katherine? Well, that's how this episode begins, in Alaric's, the real one, apartment with Katherine in a chair telling Klaus all she knows. This was just a wee bit creepy with Klaus searching through all of Alaric's stuff and feeling that his choice in clothes is quite like Safari Sam (whoever he is) because Klaus seemed to put on the facade of some investigator who needed to get a job done. Anyway, after Katherine tells Klaus stuff, he tells her to stab herself when she gets bored, something quite graphic but what Katherine deserved for being such a, well you know what I mean.

Ouch...ha, ha Katherine

Next on tap for this episode was the official handing over of the Salvatore home though I thought it would have been something worth celebrating....oh, well. It's not worth discussing right now so, moving on! In the small scene of Elena signing the special document, Stefan and Damon discuss Bonnie's ability to take on Klaus when he arrives. Typical, always so judgy those Salvatore boys. Then, they start playing Daddy Dearest by being all overprotective when Bonnie and Elena say that their going to school (WTF, it's just school), claiming that they meant for the safe-house, that's what Elena's new house is, to be just that, safe (boys!).

Now, more of the annoying part of the development of this series was that Matt and Sheriff Forbes are in on the whole Caroline-being-a-vampire deal. Matt just shows up at the Forbes' house and asks for vampire advice from the Sheriff. Really, Matt? It's just as hard for you to get used to the idea of Caroline being a vampire as it is for her own mother. But instead, he just insists on asking her for what to do and to my surprise, Sheriff Forbes tells him to lie, to pretend he actually forgot about the full, long conversation he and Caroline had about her new condition and everything that happened way back then (season 1 for us). And so, the Sheriff has Matt take Caroline to the 60s Decade Dance at school (deja vu much? Maybe episode 112 "Unpleasantville"?).

So now with Klaus being Alaric, "Alaric" walks into his American History class late and looks like he is incredibly stunned to see Elena sitting in the back with Stefan and Bonnie. He fumbles over when Watergate occurred and said it was in the 60s, what they were learning due to the dance, which made Elena correct him when it was actually in the 70s.

Then there was the planning of the dance, Matt and Caroline "reconnecting", and of course Jeremy trying to talk Bonnie out of risking her life for Elena. This new chick Dana, not an actual legit character, was compelled by Klaus to scare Elena about the fact that he will be at the dance and will want the last dance. Planning for his arrival, Stefan, Damon, Elena, Bonnie, and "Alaric" talk about the plan of attack for the dance when Klaus shows.

Back at Alaric's apartment, Klaus, Katherine, and Klaus's warlock discuss how to protect Klaus from Bonnie, as she is quite freakin' powerful from summoning all of that power. Mr. Warlock states that he can put a protective spell over Klaus to protect him from any blow that Bonnie may attempt to give. Of course Klaus agrees because underneath all of that badass act, he is seriously afraid that he could die or get hurt by Bonnie's powers.

Matt goes to pick up Caroline from her house to take to the dance and stuff. Blah, blah, blah...not all that important. Neither is Elena's not-so-dream about Klaus being real, or everyone arriving at the dance and partying, or Dana, still compelled, making a lame shout-out to Elena from Klaus.

Jeremy takes a walk into the hallway upset about the upcoming events. Stefan, being overprotective, follows him out there and gets him to say what's on his mind, the fact that Bonnie is being suicidal. So Stefan tells Elena and she has a talk with Bonnie. Meanwhile, Jeremy continues to walk in the halls and is jumped by a couple of guys that Klaus compelled to distract everyone. His plan working out successfully, "Alaric" takes Bonnie and Elena into the halls to provoke them. Getting what he deserved, Klaus get blown back painfully into glass, which doesn't hurt him by the way, after the girls figure out his real identity.

Yeah, see. That's what you get for messing with Bonnie.

Bonnie tracks Klaus down into the cafeteria and battles him once and for all which does not end well. After much hard work, Bonnie ends up dead and Klaus remains in glory, feeling empowered.

Damon explains to Jeremy what went on after they saved him from getting jumped and they venture back to the burning site of the witches. Elena feels regretful and Stefan tries to cheer her up but she continues to cry. Damon walks in and Elena is pissed at him and interrogates him about if he knew Bonnie would've had to die for the plan to go on. Damon agrees that he knew and he gets a nice slap in the face, one that he has been much needed since the beginning of this season.
But, in the end it was just a part of Damon and Bonnie's plan to make Klaus believe that she was dead. So, Bonnie's really alive and Elena, being quite the rebel, pulls out the dagger from inside Elijah, who was stored in the basement, and waits for him to come back.

Well, next episode, tomorrow's (4/21) is called "Klaus" and guess who it's about?

Later Junkies!

Update!! PLUS Vampire Diaries 4/7/11

Hey Junkies!!

Sorry about how I haven't posted since December of last year, but I wanted to update you guys on The Vampire Diaries from last week, titled "Know Thy Enemy".

That was the episode where Elena's mother, Isobel, returned to Mystic Falls and, unbeknownst to the clan (Jeremy, Stefan, Damon, Elena, Bonnie, Caroline, Alaric) was compelled to get Katherine with Klaus to break the "Sun and the Moon Curse". However, prior to this Damon killed Elijah with a special dagger dipped in White Oak ash which set Katherine free from the tomb which led to this.

Here's the basic breakdown:

  1.  Jenna lets Isobel in the house but storms out pissed at Elena and Alaric for lying about Isobel's "death".
  2. Katherine tries to persuade the Salvatore brothers in avoiding confronting Isobel about her being out of the tomb.
  3.  John, after getting a nice punch in the face, and Isobel have a chat with Elena and Stefan about Isobel's true intentions of returning as well as Klaus's plan.
  4.  Damon takes Bonnie and Jeremy to the witches' burning site. (FYI: Luca and his father are dead and Bonnie is basically the only good witch in town again.)
  5.  Isobel and Katherine talk about what would happen to her (Katherine) due to Klaus's supposed return.
  6. Elena, accompanied by Stefan, goes to accept an award in her mother's honor and the Lockwood banquet but is captured by Isobel after she causes a diversion.
  7. Katherine gets the moonstone and gives it to Isobel.
  8. Isobel takes Elena to her grave, the one placed by her parents when she was "dead", and apologized deeply for her actions.
  9. Isobel kills herself, by taking off her lapis lazuli necklace and Elena regrets her actions towards her.
  10. John, killed in the diversion, wakes up thanks to his ring and Elena allows him to stay.
  11. Stefan and Damon sign their home over to Elena so that she will be safe and can protect herself from any vampires that could possibly enter the house.
  12. Alaric and Katherine are captured by Klaus' warlock and Klaus is transferred to stay in Alaric's body.
Sorry again, junkies for not updating but hope you continue to read!
